The simple solution for mounting Modular Range pilot devices onto 35 mm DIN rail is now available from ABB. This new DIN rail adaptor allows operators (switches) to be mounted exactly where they are needed, inside the panel. The adaptor attaches to the front of our rear-mounting Modular contact blocks to hold the pilot device in place. The rear-mounting blocks then snap directly onto 35mm DIN rail.

In addition to the DIN rail adaptor, a complete mounting kit is available. The mounting kit includes the DIN rail adaptor, one dummy block and two connector pins. The kit is needed for mounting a pilot device with only one contact block. The dummy block helps stabilize a single contact block switch; providing support and secure mounting on DIN3 rail. Connector pins provide improved stability by holding the blocks together.

These products have been extensively tested to ensure that they have excellent operational life expectancy in harsh environments such as hot, cold, humid, or salty atmospheres.
