One Receptacle Inside and Outside
Testing and resetting a GFCI inside your panel is impractical under NFPA 70e. That's why GFCI receptacles belong on the outside of your panel! The new patented GFCI ExinPlex® combines both an external and an internal control panel utility outlet in one assembly. The ExinPlex® GFCI saves time by making the TEST and RESET functions available to maintenance personnel from the outside of the control panel, while also providing a GFCI protected utility outlet inside the panel.  (more)

     New Split-Core Current Transformers
CR Magnetics Split-Core Current Transformers CR Magnetics, Inc. has introduced a new split-core current transformer specifically designed to attach around a current carrying wire without interruption. The new CR Magnetics split-core current transformer is the smallest size available in the industry and has a very low cost. The new split-core current transformer features 3,000 turn secondary capacity with maximum continuous rated primary current of 60 Amps.

The new split-core transformer is designed for operation in 50/60 Hz systems with 6" long, #18 PVC wire leads. The transformer has an internal voltage suppression device that clamps the output voltage to 7.0 volts. An output signal is provided proportional to the input current with accuracy of +/ - 2%.

A key benefit of this new transformer is the extremely easy and simple attachment to the current carrying wire. The window is easily opened, attached to the wire, and then securely closed with a locking snap. The window opening of the new CR Magnetics split-core current transformer will accommodate current carrying wires up to 0.35” dia. Operating temperature range is 0° to +60°C. Case size is 1.5” high x 1.0” wide x 1.0” deep.
